Due to improving safety standards in the State of Hawaii, we are now requiring all divers to complete a medical questionnaire prior to any dive trip. This is our way to verify that no guest has any health contradictions that may prevent them from safely diving with us and other guests. Some health contradictions may require approval by a physician prior to diving. Please review the form above to check if you will require a physician’s approval.

You will be required to answer these questions as part of your waiver prior to your trip.
Complimentary Scuba Demo
Price: Complimentary for guests of the Grand Wailea

Description: Participants (ages 8+) will review a few basic Scuba/water safety topics in our shaded classroom, then spend a few minutes
breathing on SCUBA (Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus) in the shallow end of our pool. The Demo is a great opportunity to try Scuba diving and determine if you enjoy it before booking your ocean dive.
Requirements: Minimum age is 8 years old, participants must review the Medical Questionnaire, must be present 10 minutes prior to your allotted
time slot.
Additional Details: If you enjoy the experience and want to try scuba diving, you can join the Discover Scuba Class right after the demo, provided there is space available.
Bubble Maker
Price: $149.00 per diver (plus taxes & fees)

Description: After a quick presentation on safety, we head over to the main activity pool and gear up to have fun underwater! Participants will get to play a variety
of toys and games underwater. They will get to experience the lazy river underwater and feel the sensation of floating underwater.
Requirements: A parent/guardian must be present through the safety presentation in our shaded classroom.
Additional Details: Great for kids 8-11 years old or families. This program is held in activity pool.
Discover Scuba - Pool & Ocean
Price: $199.00 per diver (plus taxes & fees)
Day: Daily
Time: 10:00am & 1:30pm
Description: A short session in our shaded classroom, to learn the basic theory, is followed by an in water skill session in our dedicated 10 foot deep dive pool.
Immediately following the pool dive you will experience an amazing dive in the ocean, directly in front of the hotel on our house reef. Minimum age 10 years old
Requirements:
Participants must review the Medical Questionnaire and be comfortable in the water.
Additional Details: No pressure… if you decide not to do the ocean dive after your pool session, we will refund the cost of the ocean dive
portion ($100.00). If you love it, for up to two weeks after completing the initial training and ocean dive, you are eligible to dive as many times as you wish (at additional cost) with an instructor providing a 4:1 student to instructor ratio.
Discover Scuba - Private
Price: $929.00 (Up to 4 participants per Instructor)

Subsequent Dives After Training
House Reef Dive
Price: $149.00 per diver (plus taxes & fees)

Description: After completing training, enjoy another dive at either one of the house reefs in front of the hotel.
Requirements: Participants have completed the Medical Questionnaire and a Discover Scuba dive within the past 2 weeks.
Off-Site (Makena or Turtle Town)
Price: $169.00 per diver (plus taxes & fees)
Day: Daily
Time: 6:45am (Custom time slots possible depending on instructor availability)
Description: After completing training, join us at Makena landing for another spectacular dive. This area hosts lots of green sea turtles and has underwater
overhangs and structures.
Requirements: Participants have completed the Medical Questionnaire
and a Discover Scuba dive within the past 2 weeks.
